Photizo to the Rescue – the winning charities so far
Since launching our ‘Photizo to the Rescue’ campaign prior to Crufts in February, we have been over the moon and inundated at the number of nominations we have received. Votes and nominations are continuously arriving in all different ways. It doesn’t matter how you nominate or vote for your favourite animal rescue: phone, email, facebook message or come and see us at one of our forthcoming events.
The winners so far…
March – Maggie Fleming Animal Hospice
This is one of our residents, B. She is pretty excited and very grateful that The Maggie Fleming Animal Hospice has been chosen to receive this amazing Photizo light therapy device this month (as are her hoomans!).
At the Hospice we offer loving, kind palliative care, comfort and friendship to terminally-ill abandoned animals of many species, and this very kind gift will help them enormously. Due to the nature of their terminal state, our residents need help with chronic and acute conditions, and we are delighted that we now have this device to help us to help them cope with these conditions to make their lives as good as we possibly can for however long they have left before it is time to say goodbye.
From all of us: thank you so much for your kindness.

April – Celia Cross Greyhound Trust
The nomination was received from charity supporter, Donna Boddie, an Animal Physiotherapist who helps at Celia Cross.
“Thank you so much. We received the Photizo Vetcare today. It will make such a difference. Pictured is our kennel staff, Zoe with Rufus. Thank you again so much for helping so many rescue centres with this fabulous bit of kit.
Thank you to everyone who voted for us. We won the Photizo. It will really be a very useful and much used piece of equipment that will make a big difference to the dogs with injuries.
Thank you Photizo UK for supporting rescues.

May – UK Wolfdog Rescue
A nomination was received from charity supporter, Alison McHendry and, pictured here, with their winner certificate is their volunteer, Nicola with Rainn.
Wolfdog Rescue is run on an entirely voluntary basis by a small, dedicated group of wolfdog owners, specific breeds as the Czechoslovakian or Saarloos wolfdog. Volunteers take no salary for their work and the time committed for the dogs they help is done around their normal daily work and family commitments. They rely entirely on the generosity of the public and are grateful for all donations, no matter how small. The funds help go towards transportation around the country, vets fees, food and other basic costs.
Their new Photizo Vetcare will help towards the rehabilitation and pain relief programmes for some of their rescues before finding them their forever homes. Thanks to all those who voted to help them win.
Please keep your votes and nominations coming in. All the animal charities are well deserving winners!
